A very happy 60th anniversary to Calderwood Lodge Primary School!
What a joy it was to visit this morning with Cllr Colm Merrick SNP, see their exhibition, and have a tour led by these fantastic P6 pupils - everyone on the tour agreed they were brilliant. It was wonderful to learn more about the past 60 years of Calderwood, hear reflections of former pupils and staff, and of the lovely links with their campus partners, St Clare’s Primary.
Glad to hand over an Early Day Motion congratulating them on this big anniversary and noting the very special place Calderwood Lodge occupies as Scotland’s only Jewish school, and what a big part of our East Renfrewshire community it is.
