I welcome the Prime Minister's decision to call a general election on 4 July. It is long overdue that voters in East Renfrewshire be given a chance to cast judgment on his shambolic government. “I will be fighting a positive campaign focused on the needs of our East Renfrewshire communities, including pressing for action on the Westminster cost of living crisis. It’s a two-horse race in East Renfrewshire and only a vote for the SNP can keep the Tories out and return your hard-working local MP.
