Great to be at the fantastic Giffnock Bowling Club ‘Try Bowls’ event today. Excellent coaching and great fun too, and I really enjoyed being partnered with fellow newbie Evelyn.
A smashing time, rounded off by presenting club Captain, Andy, with an EDM congratulating the club on 125 successful years. They’re keen to hear from anyone who'd like to give bowling a try, and will welcome anyone new who’d like to join them!
Also excellent to have a trip to East Ren of days past, with these brilliant old photos of past Club Presidents, and Ladies teams.
Our local bowling clubs are doing a great job in promoting physical fitness, and helping conbat social isolation too. Well done to them all.
