Meeting with First Bus

Thanks to First Glasgow for a constructive meeting this morning, focussing on the need for reliable services in areas where there are no other transport options, and on school routes. I know that this is an issue causing significant concern to many constituents, an in particular (but not exclusively) those whose areas serviced by routes 4, 4A and 38. It is essential that there is a clear understanding of the importance of these routes to our communities, and I will continue to press First to deliver the service levels and reliability levels which people are entitled to expect. I have no doubt this will be an ongoing conversation.
