Thanks to People Management magazine, the journal of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, for publishing this piece about some of the work I am involved in on the future of work, which is such a critical issue as we move through and out of the pandemic.
The Covid crisis has shone a light on the challenges faced by those working in front line positions but on precarious contracts, for instance in supermarkets or delivery roles.
We also face important questions about the balance of life and work, and how and where we work in the future.
It is clear that we cannot simply return to what used to be normal as things improve, and we need to look at how to deliver sustainable, secure and fair work for the digital age.
