Glad to participate again today on the subject of the huge injustice experienced by WASPI women - a topic I have had an ongoing focus on for many years.
These women had the rug pulled from them, chancing life plans, sometimes in the most devastating ways, when the UK Government failed to inform them of changes to their pension age.
The parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman has found maladministration, but the UK Government continues to avoid the subject and ignore the plight of these women who were treated so poorly.
I was reminded today of UK Government Ministers suggesting that somehow an advert being placed in the financial press should have been notice enough, as if any of us would expect to be notified of such a big change in our personal circumstances by virtue of us happening to be reading the right paper on the right day, and happening upon the right advert.
The UK government hope that WASPI women will go away. They will not, and nor will I.
